ABOUT DEIFOS

Deifos: Warriors of the Gods is an open world action/adventure/puzzle/platformer (Zelda: BotW). You play as a Deifos, one who has the ability to transform into the gods. To do so, you must explore the world and find each god’s temple. If you prove yourself worthy, you’ll be able to collect the essence of the god, transform into them and have their powers at your disposal. The game will feature several gods, all with unique looks, personalities, powers, and quest lines. (Pokemon/League of Legends). The players will use each god’s abilities to combat and solve puzzles in various quests and dungeons (Legend of Zelda). Players will explore the world, collect the essence of gods, learn to master their abilities, and rise up to become a true warrior of the gods!

CURRENT PROGRESS

We’re working towards building a small vertical slice/prototype of the game. Our goal is to showcase the main mechanics and story elements. We’ll then use this prototype to pitch to investors, and to use as marketing material to fuel a Kickstarter campaign with the goal of raising the funds to develop the full game.

LOOKING FOR HELP

We are looking for the following positions to help us with Deifos:
  • UE4 Niagara VFX Artist
  • 3D Generalist – Particularly good with texture work/materials
  • UI Artist
  • Level Designer
  • Rigger
  • 3D Animator

PAYMENT STRUCTURE

As mentioned above, we’re working towards building a prototype for use in securing further funding for the remainder of the project. Once funding has been received, all team members will have two options:

  • Member will receive payment in full for the work done on the prototype and, if they continue on the team, they will receive a contracted rate for the remainder of the project.
  • The member declines payment for the prototype in favor of taking part in the revenue share option. This means that member will receive a % of the final profit from the game after its release as well as a contracted rate to develop the remainder of the project.
